Our Starter Kit has a sphere, instructions on how to play and a pouch so you can take it with you! SphereplayTM - Art of the Sphere mini DVD 63 mm Silver Stainless Steel Sphere Think Less. Play More. Sphere pouch This is a "universal" sphere. If everyone were sized for a sphere by their own personal teacher, then the 63mm Metal Sphere might very well be the most commonly comfortable sphere. It's the metric equivalent to a 2.5 inch sphere, which makes it good for all kinds of people and different ways to play. The 63mm Metal is super durable too. It has a really thick wall and no chime, so bring on the gravity because in our experience it would be shocking if these spheres dent or break. If you are interested in playing with multiples this is a good, affordable way to get into it. Plus, the highly reflective nature of these chrome spheres makes them really fun for multiples. This is a very popular size for kids in the 10 to 15 age range because it is a good size for smaller hands and it can take more of a "beating" than an acrylic. For adults who want to learn chest rolls and other body rolls, this would not be the best sphere. Totally possible, just not the easiest. Go for something bigger for sure. Check out our Multisphere Starter Kit. It has 5 of these sweet spheres and our Sphereplay - Playing in the Multisphere DVD. That's 4 hours of instruction and inspiration on 2 to 5 spheres. Wow! These spheres look incredibly cool as they mirror everything around them, including you and each other. It's almost like playing with your own personal house of mirrors. Weight: 8.3 ounces The Lessons The SphereplayTM- Art of the Sphere mini DVD is a playful introduction to contact juggling. Before Youtube was big, people had to seek out videos and dvds to learn. We made this in 2002 and it was one the first DVDs on contact juggling. It's just as educational and inspiring as when it first came out. Guess you could call it a classic!
